Pastor Tosh Sturgess - Ministry Biography
Pastor Tosh Sturgess is an energetic young Australian Evangelist who God is powerfully using. Having come from a background of alcoholism and other vices from his young years, God touched Tosh at the age of 21 and set him free from a life of bondage and depression.
Tosh then began training for the ministry at the age of 23. He then planted a church with the Assemblies of God at the age of 26, in the Wynnum/Manly bayside region of Brisbane City, Australia.
After five years of Pastoral ministry, at the age of 31, the Lord led him into the role of a travelling Preacher/Evangelist, his church still flourishing. Tosh is now part of City Church Brisbane, which is led by Pastor Wayne Alcorn, the National President for “Australian Christian Churches” the “Assemblies of God” in Australia.
Tosh is an AOG Australia minister and regularly travels as an evangelist internationally. In the short time Tosh has been ministering itinerantly he has ministered in Thailand, South Korea, South East Asia, Mozambique – Africa, Mexico, he has an extensive ministry in the U.S.A. and has ministered several times in Singapore.
Along with evangelistic fervour, Tosh is a real exhorter of the Body of Christ. His message is the simplicity of the Gospel and the power of God.
Tosh has a healing ministry with many notable miracles taking place in his meetings. Blind eyes, deaf ears, twisted spines, major arthritis, limp arms, lame legs, brain aneurisms, ruptured spinal discs, nerve damage and many other diseases have been healed by the Lord in Tosh’s meetings.
The Lord also uses him for powerful personal impartation and inner healing ministry, both to the churched and unchurched. Tosh is also a gifted songwriter and worship leader.
Tosh resides in Brisbane, Australia, with his loving wife Vicki and their four young children.
